My Summer

Overall, I had a good summer. The first thing I did after school ended was go to Six Flags with my fellow 8th grade graduates. Then after that I tried to settle back into the routine of home, but just when I was feeling relaxed, I had to go to California for my dad's surgery. In the days before the surgery we went sightseeing in the Hollywood area. Then my dad had his surgery and we were overjoyed at the great news that he was 95% cancer free. Then after this he recovered and we went sightseeing some more. Then we came back to Chicago for about a week and then left to hang out at a friend's house for about a week. Then we came back home for about another week and then went to Camp Akita for another week. Then Finally I had a chance to relax at home until school started, Which is where we are now.
